Jordan Entry Requirement

 

 

Jordan entry regulations are changing frequently. Make sure to review the following requirements for most recent information before you travel.

 

Before you travel:

- Passengers are required to visit https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo portal prior to departure, complete the required form, and obtain the QR code which is mandatory to be presented prior to boarding and upon arrival.

Passengers must have a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours prior to departure from the first boarded flight.

- Submit Passenger Health Declaration and Locator form before boarding.

 

Exemptions include:

  • Children under the age of 5 years.
  • Diplomatic QR holders (diplomats and employees of regional and international organizations (and their dependents and family members holding diplomatic passports, special passports, or regular passports) have a permanent diplomatic QR code that its validity does not expire, and it is possible to return with this code to Jordan for several trips.
 

 

PCR test required upon arrival:

 

Exemptions include:

  • Fully vaccinated passengers.
  • Children under the age of 5 years.
  • Diplomatic QR holders (diplomats and employees of regional and international organizations (and their dependents and family members holding diplomatic passports, special passports, or regular passports) have a permanent diplomatic QR code that its validity does not expire, and it is possible to return with this code to Jordan for several trips.


 

Vaccinated Passengers:

  1. Vaccinations certificates proving that full course of vaccination has been completed issued from the following countries are approved: (Australia, Bahrain, Canada, China, EU Countries, Japan, Jordan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Malaysia, Morocco, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Russia, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunis, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and USA).

     

  2. The vaccination certificate shall be in the Arabic or English language only and presented to airline personnel prior to boarding.

  

Health Insurance: 

Proof of health insurance is mandatory for non-Jordanians.

Exemptions include:

  • Medical Tourism Patients.
  • Diplomatic QR holders (diplomats and employees of regional and international organizations (and their dependents and family members holding diplomatic passports, special passports, or regular passports) have a permanent diplomatic QR code that its validity does not expire, and it is possible to return with this code to Jordan for several trips.

 

Traveling from India:

Jordanian passengers and their families (spouse and children):

 

  • Passengers who stayed 14 up to 45 days outside India prior to traveling to Jordan will be subject to 14 days self-quarantine.
  • Airlines are responsible to ensure that Jordanian passengers and their families traveling to Jordan from India through transit airports, or who spent less than 14 days outside India to sign the the indemnity Form for institutional quarantine at the airport hotel for 14 days and to pay to the hotel the required charges for the whole 14 nights with the amount of 55 JOD and applicable taxes for each night.

     


Non-Jordanian passengers travelling from India who spent less than 45 days outside India are not permitted to enter Jordan.

 

Diplomatic passengers are required to coordinate with ministry of foreign affairs and expatriates and national Centre of security and crises management.


 

Transit Passengers: allowed at Jordanian Airports as follows:

  • PCR test required 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure.
  • The planned transfer time is not exceeding 10 hrs.

 

 

Notes: 

  • Passengers travelling out of Jordan can use their PCR test certificate to travel back to Jordan provided that PCR test is conducted within 120 hours prior arrival to Jordan.
  • Any passenger gives falsified or incorrect information is subject to a fine of 10,000 JOD.

Global Entry Regulations

Travel Policy

 

We are offering extra flexibility for our passengers. Flexible options are provided to passengers affected by the flight suspensions when Sales Validity between 1 January 2019 – 30 June 2021 and Travel Validity between 17 March 2020 - 30 June 2021

 

Reservation Date Change:

  • Reservation date change penalties will be waived if the flights are cancelled due to COVID-19.
  • 5% discount on the difference in fare will be applied.
  • Passengers can request to re-validate their tickets on any date before 31 Dec 2021.


Voucher (EMD):

Offering you more flexibility to fly with us again, we have now more options for passengers choose from:

  • Travel voucher (Good for travel) valid for two years from day of issuance.
  • Refundable Voucher valid for one year from day of issuance, and applicable on all classes except the non-refundable classes.
  • Voucher/EMD value can be used by the passenger’s family members (consent to be submitted when requesting this option).
  • Refund can be processed according to your country law, if not available RJ’s ticket terms and conditions apply.
