Travel Policy

 

In response to the Government announcement to resume our operation on 8 September,2020, and because your health comes first. We are offering extra flexibility for passengers.

 

Flexible options are provided to passengers affected by the flight suspensions when Sales Validity between 1 January 2019 – 31 October 2020 and Travel Validity between 17 March 2020 - 31 October 2020

 

Reservation Date Change:

  • Reservation date change penalties will be waived if the flights are cancelled due to airport closure.
  • 5% discount on the difference in fare will be applied.
  • Passengers can request to re-validate their tickets on any date before 31 December 2020, but the processes of the re-validation should be done on/before 31 October 2020

Voucher (EMD):

Offering you more flexibility to fly with us again, we have now more options for passengers choose from:

  • Travel voucher (Good for travel) valid for two years from day of issuance.
  • Refundable Voucher valid for one year from day of issuance.
  • Voucher/EMD value can be used by the passenger’s family members (consent to be submitted when requesting this option).
  • Refund can be processed according to your country law, if not available RJ’s ticket terms and conditions apply.

  • For passengers holding tickets with point of sale (IL) and affected by flight suspensions due to the COVID 19 epidemic. RJ will make the relevant refund within 90 days from the day stipulated in the flight ticket, or until October 1, 2020, whichever latest.

Jordan Entry Requirement

In response to the government announcement to resume passenger’s commercial flights, and for a smooth less complicated travel experience. Following the updated travel procedure to help you plan your upcoming business or personal trip to Jordan.

 

Countries Classification.

Countries are classified into three categories: Green, Yellow and Red, depending on the scale of the COVID-19 outbreak:

Travel Requirement:

  • All arriving passengers coming from Group (A,B,C) are required to visit  https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo/ to complete the required form and to obtain the QR code which is mandatory for boarding (Not required for children under 5 years old).
  • Have PCR test with a negative result within 120 hours before departure (Not required for children under 5 years old).
  • Another PCR test is required upon arrival.
  • Install (AMAN Application) on mobile phone.
  • Submit Passenger Health Declaration and Locator Form.
  • Have a valid Health Insurance is required for Non - Jordanians.
  • (7) Days self-quarantine at home after negative PCR test.
  • Any passenger gives falsified or incorrect information is subject to a fine 10,000 JD.

 

International Transfer Passengers are not allowed at Jordanian Airports 

  

Passengers travelling to Jordan for Medical Tourism through “Salamtak Platform” are exempted from the condition of visiting https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo/ and issuing a QR code, provided that they hold an approval from Crisis Operation Center.

Accredited Diplomats residing in the Kingdom are exempted from the condition of providing PCR test with negative results before the flight and from conducting PCR test upon arrival.


Global Entry Regulations

Only passengers holding a valid residency can travel to Abu Dhabi.

Visit visa, visa upon arrival and fresh residency visa are not allowed to enter Abu Dhabi.

All passengers are required to obtain a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate maximum 96 hours from the time of test from approved labs (In Jordan =Biolabs) or by a laboratory accredited by the state of departure, list of approved labs listed on the website(https://screening.purehealth.ae/application ), Passengers must have a hard copy of the test result.

All passengers are required to download ALHOSN app for tracking purposes.

Health Insurance - Required.

 

 

PCR test before travelling - Required 72 hours prior to departure with negative results

All passengers arriving to Lebanon:

  • All passengers arriving to Lebanon (except children under 12 years old) ,must perform PCR test (Negative result) in a Lab certified by the countries local authorities latest 96 hours between the test result and the date of arrival to Lebanon and to show the test result at check-in counters. Passengers who do not carry a negative PCR test result will not be permitted to board. PCR test result in any language will be accepted.
  •  A fine of 2000 USD will be imposed for each passenger arriving BEY without PCR report.

 

Passengers arriving from Iraq, Syria, Turkey and all African countries:

Airline shall collect 50 USD on every passenger wishing to travel to Lebanon , except children under 12 years age, UNIFIL and members of diplomatic delegations acting in Lebanon, which is the cost of PCR test or other medical diagnostic measures that every passenger shall undergo upon arrival to BRHIA through labs authorized by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health at the Airport.

All passengers arriving to Lebanon from Syria , Turkey and all African countries , who performed PCR test in those countries , shall be home quarantined for a period of 48 hours from the date of their arrival to Lebanon until they are informed by the result of PCR test conducted at BRHIA.

All Lebanese and resident foreigners' passengers arriving from Iraq shall be home quarantined for a period of 72 hours from the date of arrival to Lebanon, during which they shall be subject to another PCR test at their own expense.

All passengers arriving from Iraq, except Lebanese and resident foreigners shall have a prepaid hotel booking for72 hours in one of the following hotels designated by the Ministry of Tourism in Lebanon with discounted rates:

- Lancaster Hotels Group through website: www.lancaster.com.lb

- Radisson Blue Martinez Hotel through website: www.radissonhotel.com

- Kanaan Hotel Group through website:www.kanaanhotel.com

Passengers who do not have the above Hotel booking are not allowed to board the plane and upon their arrival, they shall remain at the hotels for a period of 72 hours during which a second PCR test will be conducted for them.

Passengers whom PCR result were positive shall pay for their treatment cost at their own expense.

 

Passengers arriving from other countries:

All passengers arriving Lebanon from other countries can choose between:

1. Repeat the PCR test, conducted in the countries of departure, least 72 hours after their arrival to Lebanon and at their own expense. OR

2. Stay home or hotel quarantined for a period of 10 days from the date of their arrival to Lebanon.

Passengers who travelled out of Lebanon and will return within one week are exempted from doing PCR tests at their departure station.

 

Health Insurance before travelling - Not required

 

All passengers are required to complete the medical form issued by Lebanese Ministry of Public Health before their arrival to Lebanon, this form will be available electronically through below link, passengers who have not complete the form are not allowed to board the plane departing to Lebanon.

PCR Requested for all passengers 72 hours prior arrival except children’s less than 06 years.

As an exception, PCR test issued before 96 hours prior arrival from the following countries (New Zealand, Australia, Japan, China, Thailand, North & South America, Canada, London, Paris, Frankfurt)

PCR Not required for transit passengers in Cairo Airport

Restricted Passengers - Passengers that are on visas from Iran, China, UK, Schengen countries, or Brazil need to quarantine outside those countries for at least 14 days prior to their entry into USA

Exempted Passengers - US citizens and LPR are exempt quarantine

Health Insurance before travelling - not required

Restricted Passengers - All passenger’s travelling from countries not mentioned below in “Exempted Passengers”, and those who are not holding approved return permit from Qatar Portal.

Exempted Passengers:

  • Qatari Nationals
  • Passengers holding permanent resident and other exception visa holder
  • Passengers travelling from the following low risk countries, provided that they hold a special return permit (Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, China, New Zealand, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Korea, Cuba, Hungary, Finland, Latvia, Italy, Norway, Estonia, Lithuania, Greece, Slovakia, Ireland, Germany, Slovenia, Japan, Denmark, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, Poland, Austria, Algeria, Netherland, Iceland, France, Croatia, Switzerland, Morocco, Australia, Belgium, Portugal, Czechia, Sweden, Uruguay).

PCR test before travelling:

  • Conduct COVID-19 test in hospital within a period not exceeding 48 hours from the date of departure and submit a hard copy of the examination certificate upon arrival.
  • Passengers travelling from (Turkey, Germany, Thailand, United Kingdom) only approved PCR test from hospitals mentioned in the attachment.
  • The applicant must upload proof of staying in a low-risk country for 72 hours or more. If the expatriate resides less than 72 hours in a low-risk country, they will be considered as coming from other countries (not low-risk) and will be treated accordingly.

Health Insurance before travelling - Not required.

For Qatari Nationals for home quarantine

Exempted Passengers - Holder of ICA approval, holders of return permit, visit & resident visas and visa upon arrival

All passengers are required to fill the Declaration Form before arriving Dubai, in order to be submitted to immigration staff.

 

 

 

Restricted Passengers - third-country nationals arriving from out of Schengen area

Exempted Passengers:

  • Passengers travelling from Australia, Georgia, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, Tunis, Uruguay
  • For China, Japan & South Korea a lifting of entry restrictions is subject to confirmation of reciprocity.
  • German nationals and nationals from other EU countries, countries associated with Schengen (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) and the United Kingdom;
  • Third-country nationals with a valid residence permit for Germany;
  • Family members of third-country nationals travelling to Germany for the purposes of family reunification or for visits for urgent family reasons;
  • Healthcare professionals, health researchers and elderly care professionals;
  • Foreign experts and highly qualified personnel whose work is necessary from an economic point of view and which cannot be postponed or carried out abroad;
  • Transport personnel engaged in haulage of goods and other transport staff;
  • Seasonal workers in agriculture;
  • Sailors;
  • Foreign students whose studies cannot be continued entirely from outside Germany;
  • Persons in need of international protection or seeking protection for other humanitarian reasons;
  • Diplomats, staff of international organizations, military personnel and humanitarian aid workers in the exercise of their functions;
  • Late repatriates;
  • Passengers in Transit.

Restricted Passengers - Passengers traveling from the following countries (India, Brazil and Argentina) including any person who has been in any of the mentioned countries above in the last (14) days prior to their arrival to KSA.

Exempted Passengers:

  • Saudi Citizens, their (Non-Saudi) companions, their Non-Saudi Spouse and children are allowed entry into KSA at their own expenses on the repatriation flights operated by countries to evacuate their citizens from KSA (All Non-Saudi companions mentioned must have valid (Iqamah) in KSA.
  • GCC citizens
  • Non-Saudi passengers holding a valid visa (Exit/Entry, Residence-Iqamah and Visit)
  • Passengers traveling from (India, Brazil and Argentina) and have official government invitations.

PCR test before travelling - Required 48 hours prior arrival

Health Insurance before travelling - Not required

All passengers must submit their filled and signed form to the health control center upon arrival at airport.

 

  • Restricted Passengers - Non Kuwaiti passengers travelling from the following countries (Afghanistan, India, Iran, China, Brazil, Colombia, Armenia, Bangladesh, Philippines, Syria, Spain, Singapore, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iraq, Mexico, Indonesia, Chile, Pakistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Hong Kong, Italy, North Macedonia, Moldova, Panama, Peru, Serbia, Montenegro, Dominican Republic, Kosovo).
  • Exempted Passengers - Kuwaiti citizens, first relative’s degree of Kuwaiti citizens
  • PCR test before travelling - Required, valid up to 96 hours (Children under the age of 6 years old are exempted)
  • Health Insurance before travelling - Not required
  • Activate Shlonik App.

Restricted Passengers - Passengers travelling from countries designated under category C (Countries not mentioned in category A & B).

Exempted Passengers:

  • Passengers travelling from category A countries can arrive in Cyprus without a PCR test: Australia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Thailand
  • Passengers travelling from category B countries can arrive in Cyprus by downloading their PCR test on website 72 hours prior to their travel: Belgium, Canada, China (including Hong Kong), Denmark, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Norway, Poland, Rwanda, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Sweden, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Vatican City

 

Only the following passengers are permitted to travel from countries of category C (Jordan):

1. Cypriot citizens, permanently residing in the public of Cyprus and their family members (Foreign spouses, their minor children and their parents.

2. Persons legally residing in the Republic of Cyprus

3. Persons allowed to enter in the Republic of Cyprus under the Vienna Convention

4. Persons regardless of nationality having a special permission by the Republic of Cyprus, as defined under the infectious Diseases (Determination of Measures against the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus disease) Decree (N.30) as amended.

PCR test before travelling:

  • Minors under the age of 12 do not require COVID-19 test
  • For Category B+C exempted passengers they have the option of either arranging themselves a COVID-19 test 72 hours before their travel to the Republic of Cyprus or having this test which amounts to 60 euros, performed upon their entry to the Republic of Cyprus, on their own expenses. In the case where they choose to have the test performed upon their entry to the Republic of Cyprus, they will remain until the test results are completed, at a place designated by the Republic of Cyprus for as long as is necessary until the test results are completed and they will pay the costs for the test.

  • Citizens
  • PR Holder
  • Study permits if not approved yet but letter of confirmation from Canadian embassy
  • Passenger holding student/work visa is required to have the following:

a. Student visa must be issued before 18 Mar 2020, and passenger will be quarantine for 14 Days.

b. Clearance letter from Liaison office of Embassy of Canada from departure country.

c. Recent letter from respective school for opening date of school.

d. Holder of work visa must have clearance letter from liaison office of Embassy of Canada in departure country.

  • Visitors

Only following category of passengers holding visit visa can enter Canada (Immediate family members i.e. Parents and children of Canadian Citizen/P. R Card holders ONLY).

- U.S Citizens from AMM connecting to USA

U.S citizens arriving from AMM for essential traveling are accepted only to transit USA. They will report to Canadian immigration, pickup their bags, clear from Canadian customs and go to US Re-check area for their respective Airlines (But cannot leave Airport terminal building and in case of delay, passengers must stay at Marriot hotel at Airport with maximum of 24 hours transit time.

Exempted Passengers - EU citizens, Schengen states, Andorra, Monaco, North Ireland, England, Marino, Vatican State, Health Personnel, Diplomatic, International Organizations, Humanitarian workers, passengers having work permit for a maximum stay of 5 days must hold a return ticket.

PCR test before travelling - Not required.

Health Insurance before travelling - Not required.

Declaration form should be submitted.
