Ms. Rand Ghazi Hanoun

Throughout her career, Ms. Rand Hannun has acquired extensive legal knowledge in areas of trade and investment policy, including free zones, investment laws, international trade agreements, trade and economic policy in emerging economies and legislative drafting and advocacy. In particular, Ms. Hannun has effectively participated in some of the region and Jordan's leading reform initiatives for economic development, including Jordan's accession to the WTO, the transformation of Aqaba into a Special Economic Zone, and regulatory support to the Development Zones Commission. She also has been involved in regional trade reform studies including being appointed as the lead legal and regulatory counsel with AECOM as a contractor to the Government of Kuwait to develop a master plan for the development of three economic zones in the State of Kuwait and the lead legal and regulatory counsel with Sibley International for the Tripoli Special Economic Zone Feasibility Study Project in cooperation with the Government of Lebanon. Currently, Ms. Hannun is involved in areas of corporate law, taxation, banking and finance, labour and privatization. She also lends her support through Nabulsi & Associates to a number of the firm’s clients operating in the various forms of the transport sector.
Ms. Hannun is currently a Partner at Nabulsi & Associates. Previously, she has served as the Head of Legal Department/Legal Counsellor at Taameer Holdings Jordan, a Senior Associate at Sanad Law Group, and an Associate at International Business Legal Associates (IBLAW). She has also served a board member for the World Services Group, a company based in the USA whose primary objective is to offer globally recognized resource for professionals and their clients to receive the highest quality, value and service from legal, investment banking and accounting services.

Ms. Hannun holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (LLB) from the University of Jordan and a Masters of Law (LLM) degree in International Business Law from King’s College, the University of London. She is a member of the Jordanian Bar Association since 1998.
