Reinstate Miles

 

Award Miles Expiry

Your Award Miles will not expire as long as your account is active for 18 months in a row.

Keeping your account active, and accordingly your balance, is very simple; as it can be achieved through various means:

- Earning miles through flight activities with RJ or any of our oneworld partners.

- Earning miles through every day activities with any of our numerous non-airline partners.

- Redeeming miles for an award ticket, upgrade, excess baggage, lounge access, etc.

- Buying miles.

- Gifting miles.

- Miles transfer.

- Donations.

However, if no activities are credited to your account for a period of 18 months, then your account will turn inactive and your total award miles balance will expire.

To check your account status and balance validity,log into your membership account.

Reinstate Expired miles

You can reactivate your account by performing any activity and crediting award miles to your account through airline or non-airline accrual activities.

Once you have reactivated your account, you have the option to reactivate miles that have expired in the past 6 months and to reinstate them into your account.

You can reinstate up to 50,000 miles at a cost of US$ 0.020 per mile online and US$ 0.025 per mile offline.

To reactivate your miles online,log into your membership account, and select the “Reactivate miles” option.
