Khazali Canyon
Inscriptions, Water Pools, and Wildlife Galore
Khazali Canyon harbors a collection of remarkably well-preserved petroglyphs, spanning from ancient stone-age renderings of lions and elephants to contemporary Arabic inscriptions left by pilgrims journeying to Mecca. Legend has it that the canyon earned its name from a daring thief who, leaping from a great height, miraculously survived by using his robes as makeshift parachutes.
