RJ holds iftar banquets for 300 orphaned children

Amman, June 7, 2018-   A number of RJ employees broke the fast with the orphans at the Children’s Museum. The children were happy to visit the museum, which offered them a unique educational experience, and helped them explore and experiment numerous activities, and learn through playing. Gifts and toys were also distributed to the children.

In the other iftar that was held for orphans from a charity organization located in Bayader Wadi Alseer area. RJ staff from different departments participated in organizing the event, during which the underprivileged orphans received Eid clothes and enjoyed various entertaining activities.

RJ thus further exercises its social responsibility, trying to offer a few happy moments, while also offering them gifts and clothes for Eid Al Fitr.

The annual Ramadan campaign is testimony to Royal Jordanian's belief in the need to interact with the local community as part of its national duty and its social responsibility toward the underprivileged. This is an essential element of the company's mission and values.

Royal Jordanian commits with IATA to enhance environmental sustainability

Amman, Nov. 6, 2022: Royal Jordanian signed an agreement with IATA to join a large number of airlines that are now using the IATA Environmental Assessment Program (IEnvA). This sustainability program will be a key tool for RJ to achieve sustainability in all air and ground operations. Globally, (IEnvA) is used by airlines, aircraft maintenance services, on-board catering services and ground handlers to enhance environmental sustainability.
